Happy Halloween!

Last halloween, I prepared  for my babies' costumes.  Our theme was The Cat in the Hat.  Me and hubby were Thing 1 and 2, G was the cat in the hat and B was the fish. Since we're out of budget, I just bought G's costume online and the rest I just made myself.  I bought 3 pink yarns which were on sale at Joann's and AC Moore and made a crochet costume of my 4 month old baby B.  Dad already has a shirt with Thing 2, which he bought a long time ago, so I just copied the print of Thing 1 using a felt cloth.

Last year, we didn't get  a lot of candies, but it was okay because we didn't like our son eating too much sweets.  This year, we came early and we got a lot of candies! Now my prob is how to dispose those candies cause we don't like too much sweets in the house.

I also joined a contest where you'll tweet your pic to show the mall management that we went to their halloween event.  To my surprise, last Monday, I received an email from the manager that I won the contest! Hurray! Now I have money to spend for my kid's Christmas shopping. It's a $100 gift card by the way. It made us all very happy!

I wonder what's gonna be our costume next year?

Hello World!

Hi! I'm AB, I have a lovely family with two adorable angels, and I'm a full-time mom. This afternoon a friend of mine came to visit me and my family and to see our four-month old baby. She inspired me to start a blog about all the things I know about motherhood, breastfeeding, crafting, photography, and taking care of my three-year old son and four month old baby girl.

I used to be a teacher/librarian, but had to stop working last 2011 and took care of my son since then.  My son, G is a very smart boy.  He learned the alphabet, colors and shapes at the age of 1 and also learned counting 1 to 50. Now, he's counting up to 100 and reading on his own.  He's a great fanatic of Disney Cars, and anything about monster trucks or construction trucks.  We enjoy baking and cooking together since he was 1.  We're now looking for a free school for the meantime so he could try play-school before he actually goes to pre-K next year.  What I love most about Gelo is his sweetness. Yesterday during the mass, he hugged and kissed me several times. He's also close to God (we're Catholics and our family is serious about religion and faith).  He knows how to pray the basics like Our Father, Hail Mary and Glory Be.  He has a great humor too like his dad and always makes me laugh. He's the love of my life...and I hope I'm his too! =)

My youngest, Baby B is a sweet pumpkin! She makes everyone smile in the house even though she's not doing anything.  I feel that she's my dream come true, because I've always wanted to have a baby girl and luckily, she's like a mini me! I love making her hair clips, head bands, shoes, and other stuff. Recently, I made her halloween costume. Our theme was The Cat in the Hat.  I love halloween! Me and hubby were dressed up as Thing 1 & 2, B's the fish and G's the Cat in the Hat.

B's so adorable and we love her totally. She completes our family and I can't wait to make more unforgettable memories with her.

My hubby, Daddy A, is the best in the world! He supports me 24/7 and works hard to be a good provider.  He's an answered prayer. You know those stuff you wish on a guy when you were younger, on what you like on an ideal man...he got all of them. The best part about him is he leads us closer to God everyday.  He's our daddy angel.

Our family is simple and full of love, joy and fun.  I can't wait to blog more things about me as a mom and wife.
